Egypt is one of the countries of the solar/wind belt area most suitable for applications of solar/wind energy. A mixture of these two renewable energy generations has become reality.
Unipower products and systems are installed in both Jabal El Zayat wind farm (Zaferana #1, 365 MW) and Zafarana solar/wind farms (Zaferana #2, 50 MW + 180 MW). The instruments control the power quality before the power is injected into the grid.
